Who We Are
Live Tunes Tonight provides calendars of music venues in the Puget Sound area of Washington State. The major cities include Seattle, Tacoma, Bellevue and includes most all cities in the Puget Sound Region stretching from Olympia in the South to Marysville in the North. The site provides links to venue calendars in a quick and easy to search manner. Want to search for just music venues in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle? You can do that. Want to search for all venues by distance from your house? You can do that. Want to search for just jazz bars or country bars? You can do that as well. You have total control of how you search. If you know the name or partial spelling of the venue name, you can use our quick search section on the main page to save time. Within two clicks, you will have the site calendar in your hands.
What we don't provide is a site full of party photos, cheeseburgers that you can't reasonably fit in your mouth, and all the other clutter on other websites. We will provide links to those websites, so if you have extra time on your hands, you can visit those sites. Don't get us wrong, we love those sites but we really just like getting detailed information to you in a quick manner without any wasted time or mind numbing clutter. We think once you use our site, you will find it a really useful tool to find local live music. We also provide links to other entertainment calendars such as Seahwaks, Mariners, Huskies, Sounders, etc. As part of our site, we also provide helpful resources such as ticket sites (Ticketmaster, Stubhub, Vivid Seats, etc) , other search sites (Reverbnation, Facebook, Songkick, Bands in Town, etc) and sites that have composite weekly calendars of major venues. (Tacoma Weekly, Seattle Stranger, etc). Even though we are primarily a live music search site, we also want to give you information about other live entertainment options that may complement your music night out. Why not hit the Mariners for the afternoon game and then roll into Pioneer Square for some live music?. This site is intended to be easy to use with information provided to you in a quick and easy to understand format. On the main page, you can use the Quick Search section to quickly find your venue, band, other search sites, ticket sites, festivals or anything we have in our database. Simply type in a partial or full name, select the name from the drop down list and the links will populate below the name. From there you can select the appropriate link for your search. If you want to do a more detailed search, then go to the specified page links below on the main page and you will see all search options available on those pages.
You have the simple option of quickly finding your information with one click on the main page or going to the individual pages and getting more detailed search options. Either way, we try to make it as simple as possible for you to use.
